CAPE PNG Ltd donated seven Personal Computers (PCs)to Redscar High School on Thursday at Porebada village in Port Moresby.

Cape is an International leader in provision of critical industrial services.

The critical services include Scaffolding, refractory linings, environmental services, insulation, specialists coatings and fire protection.

Cape currently has 6 Projects within PNG which all begun with the LNG project construction phase five years agoin 2011.

Redscar High School has only one printer and one desktop to run all administrative duties in the school.

Cape Administration Manager,Tania Saroa told students that out of all the schools that were within the LNG Area, Cape chose the school as it was the first high school on the Papa Lea Lea road leading to the LNG Plant on the outskirts of Port Moresby.

"Since they were the closest high school within the range of Port Moresby to LNG site, we chose to donate these computers to their school. The school is very remote with the bad roads around that area," Saroa said.

It was the first time Cape had given back to the community with plans to continue as a goodwill gesture and an appreciation of Cape’s projects at the LNG Site.

Deputy Principal Morea Aia was very happy with the donation as it would help greatly in the students education at the school.
