THEY said the next performing artist would be big, and true to their word he is- that’s right Jamaican-American rapper, singer and songwriter Kisean Anderson, better known by his stage name Sean Kingston, is to perform in Port Moresby at the Cosmopolitan Night Club.

With the date and ticket information yet to be released, it is understood that the Reggae fusion, hip hop, dance, and R&B artist is set to top the list of biggest acts to hit PNG shores, after the likes of Mario, and recent acts like Shaggy.

He pursued a music career and debuted in 2007 with the album Sean Kingston, and churned out hits like ‘Beautiful Girls’, which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, UK Singles Charts along with other international charts, along with other hits like ‘Stand by Me’. ‘Me Love’, and ‘Face Drop’.

Since Sean is a 23 year old Jamaican singer, he got his stage name "Kingston" from the capital of Jamaica called Kingston, Jamaica.

The album Tomorrow was released on September 22, 2009, with Big-name producers involved in the album included former Fugee Wyclef Jean; RedOne (of recent Lady Gaga fame); plus Sean's original mentor, J. R. Rotem.

Kingston co-wrote Jason Derülo's "Whatcha Say", and also found the R&B-reggae singer Iyaz on MySpace and signed him to his record label.

He also recorded the track "Miss Everything" for the UK girl-group Sugababes studio album Sweet 7 which was released March 15, 2010, in the UK.

Famous collaborations of the superstar familiar with PNG fans include Justin Beiber in the song, ‘Eenie Meenie’n, and other artists like Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Soulja Boy, Rick Ross, Iyaz, Chris Brown, and, Wiz Khalifa.

The artist adds to the already impressive and growing list of A-Listers to enter PNG shores, with the Nation’s Capital slowly becoming the live concert capital of the Pacific.
